Accounts Payable Clerk – Barrie
Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. is seeking a person like you to join our team in Barrie. We are looking for a detail oriented, technically strong individual with at least 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or accounting.
As an Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. Accounts Payable Clerk you’ll be supporting our vendor relationships with our team at the head office. We offer a fantastic benefits package and bonus incentives to keep you motivated, in addition to a base salary.

Responsibilities
- Accurately process invoices in a timely manner
- Process electronic payments to vendors
- Manage the accounts payable process
- Ensure proper approvals are maintained
- Focus on automation of processes to gain efficiencies
- Accurately code to appropriate G/L
- Enter a high volume of data
- Maintain electronic vendor filing system
- Moving towards paperless for all processes
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Back up incoming phone calls & Accounts Receivable
- Other duties as required to assist the team
You have a great attention to detail; the ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines and the ability to handle multiple demands with competing priorities. We want to hear your ideas on efficiencies and analysis.
Experience
Experience with the following programs will be considered as asset:
- Microsoft Navision (current) or Business central (implementing)
- Concur (expense processing)
- Any OCR / Vendor Invoice automation of A/P
