Automation Specialist – Greater Toronto Area
Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. has been providing outstanding service and support to the Canadian automation industry for almost 30 years. We have an excellent career opportunity for a full time Automation Specialist in our GTA office, with experience in the following areas:
• Strong knowledge of automation controls and control systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics.
• Technical support.
• Customer service.
• Direct experience with the Omron product line is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who also have a mechanical aptitude or experience.

Reporting to the Area Manager with an indirect report into head office, you will be responsible for providing technical support for factory automation components to customers and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 year Electrical Technician Diploma; Mechanical Diploma as well would be a plus.
• Strong computer skills which include a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• You have a basic understanding of motion control technology as it applies to an industrial manufacturing environment.
