We’re looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Automation Specialist at our new Mississauga office.

With our new office in Mississauga, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to contribute to our customers’ success throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our dynamic team engages with diverse clients spanning various industries, from end users in automotive, pharmaceutical, and life sciences, to machine builders, integrators, and OEMs.

 

Position Overview:

As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting our clients with their automation needs. From proof-of-concepts for robotic systems and vehicles, to selecting and testing sensing technologies and ensuring customer machine safety requirements are met, you’ll be at the front line with our technical sales team. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering tailored solutions that optimize our clients’ processes and drive their success with training, troubleshooting, and demonstrations of our premium product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

        1. Collaborate with clients to understand their automation requirements and challenges.
        1. Demonstrate and support cutting-edge industrial, collaborative, and mobile robotic technologies.
        1. Specify and test sensing, pneumatic, and material handling technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
        1. Ensure the highest standards of machine safety in all automation solutions.
        1. Provide technical support and expertise to clients throughout their project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

        1. Technical diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or a related engineering field.
        1. Proven experience in providing automation solutions.
        1. Strong programming skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
        1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
        1. Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
        1. Possess a valid “G” driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle, as the position requires some travel within the Greater Toronto Area, and South-Western Ontario.
