Robotics Specialist – Eastern Canada

Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd (AMC) is looking for a Robotic Sales specialist for the Quebec & Atlantic Canada region with a large centralization of business in the Montreal area. Join a renowned company which has been supplying solutions and high-tech exclusive automation products for 30 years. This position gives you the ability to work from home or our office in Laval, Quebec. We also have three offices across Ontario.

The ideal candidate should have 5 years of relevant experience in automation solution sales, preferably in robotic or mechatronic based solutions. Candidates profile could be considered if highly interested in sales, experience in manufacturing improvement projects in the fabrication, assembling, or packaging fields. Under the supervision of the Vice-President, Marketing, the specialist will have to achieve sales targets, in various industries such as fabrication and machining, plastics molding, furniture and wood product manufacturing, food and pharmaceutical product packaging.

Based on AMC’s mission to supply to its customer high-technology products, you will have to master the value proposition of Universal Robots collaborative robots line up and UR+ accessories. Your focus on results, technical skills, and communications skills will be your main assets to assure market share growth of our innovative robotic products.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop potential customers, focusing on SMEs, using our sales and marketing tools. Candidates will also organize and present seminars, and participate to the various industry shows and exhibitions.
  • Guide customers towards improvement potential of their operations, in fields of machine/station tending or packaging. Support customers in their ROI evaluation and safety risk assessments.
  • Perform demonstrations of our robotic products, and on fewer cases, support customers testing and proof of concept.
  • Evaluate the sale forecast, plan the prospection and follow-up tasks, and document the activities according to our procedures and with the help of the customer management system (CRM).
  • Perform administrative duties for customer account management and assure the progress of these tasks under our procedures.

Requirements:

  • Pertinent experience in automation product or solution sales, pertaining to manufacturing process.
  • University or college diploma in automation, mechanical or industrial engineering, or other specialties relevant to the requirements of this opportunity.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent skills and capacities in sales and persuasions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Familiar of ISO10218 and CSA Z434 Robotic Safety regulations.
